Max & Sydney's "Spontaneous" Sunset Sail:
Max collaborated with us to create the ultimate surprise proposal in one of the most unique event locations - on the San Francisco Bay. "The Bay holds a special place in our hearts," says Max. "I knew I wanted to incorporate it into our proposal in a truly unforgettable way. " After proposing to Sydney in the Presidio, Max surprised her with a scenic sail to Sausalito aboard our sleek Beneteau 38', Survivor, waiting for them at a nearby guest dock. "I secretly arranged for our closest friends to be waiting for us at Bar Bocce," Max explains. "As we approached the dock, I gave Sydney binoculars and had her look towards the restaurant. The sight of all our friends cheering was truly magical. Sydney was ecstatic!"
"The sail itself was incredibly smooth and enjoyable," Max continues. "Our captain, Leigh Hunt, was fantastic. He created a relaxed and romantic atmosphere, allowing us to fully savor this special moment. The sail truly took our proposal from average to spectacular, and made it unforgettable."
Max had every thoughtful detail planned out - from cozy blankets, stunning flower arrangements, and a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge that set the stage for a magical day. She said "Yes!" (Well done, Max.)
Matt & Michelle's Celebratory Sail:
Matt and Michelle chose to commemorate their engagement with a romantic sail aboard Attitude Adjustment, our elegant Beneteau 41'. Sailing holds a special place in their hearts, and what better way to celebrate their love than with a memorable cruise on the Bay?Michelle, when asked about choosing sailing as the backdrop for her engagement photos, shared a beautiful sentiment: "When we were deciding locations for our engagement photoshoot, sailing immediately came to mind because it had been a huge part of Matt's childhood. One of my first times meeting his mother was actually a weekend away on their family sailboat to Catalina Island! After our photographer Amanda coincidentally suggested a sailboat shoot, we knew it was fate."

The day was filled with special moments, including a surprise encounter with a curious seal as they approached the dock, as the photographer, Amanda Callaway, recalls:
"The weather was crisp, and cool but in all honesty, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day in the Bay to be on the water and sail under the Golden Gate Bridge. As Captain Scott Paul was about to dock the boat, Matt and Michelle were greeted by a little visitor- a seal. The perfect ending to their session!"
