In March 2009, John Connolly led a crew
from the Canary Islands north to Gibraltar.
The plan was to do two ocean passages,
one to Madeira Island (north of the Canary
Islands) and the other from there to Gibraltar.
Due to heavy weather conditions, the crew
changed plans and decided to sail to the
Moroccan Coast, braving the 50 knots of
wind and 30 foot seas. After coast hopping
north, John declared this to be one of
the most interesting places to sail in
the world!
Join us on our next Moroccan Adventure.
This time we are heading south, with the
wind, making stops in Casablanca and the
famous Ricks Cafe. Leg one starts
in the Mediterranean on Mallorca, one
of the Balearic Islands and ends in Gibraltar,
after exploring the Spanish Gold Coast.
Leg two picks the boat up in Gibraltar,
concluding in Gran Canaria. This trip
will sell out, so book your cabin today.
