The beginning race clinic consists of one classroom meeting and 3 on-the-water day clinics which will be held between January and April. After learning the fundamentals of racing, race rules and tactics, starting and mark rounding, sail trim and spinnaker sailing, you will be ready to practice your skills in the Golden Gate Yacht Club’s Summer Beer Can Series.

Beer Can races are held every other Friday between April and September. You can pick and choose which races to participate in. The cost per race is $50.
